Updates – Let’s! Let’s!

Because there are some major changes going under way concerning Hanyan~
Also because I haven’t updated for a while.
And because I actually have some spare time right now. C:
When I say changes, I’m pretty much talking about a show (or maybe two) being completely dropped, my Weekly Anime being switched around and replaced, dropping my weekly features, and just… more update-ish stuff that is needed at this point. It’ll be a busy Summer, and not just because of blogging… but I think I will be able to handle it if I really stop procrastinating and just… go from there.
Concerning Summer
I can say that Summer has officially started for me~! Drama Camp will be going on for the next two weeks. And I’m going to be completely honest. This drama camp is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Yes, go ahead and laugh. It sounds lame. Drama Camp.
But I guess you’d just need to be there to experience it. I’ve been going to it for the past four Summers. It’s that much fun for me.
So I have Drama Camp, then Junior Lifeguards, which is pretty much me being on the beach the whole day starting in two weeks and doing push-ups and swimming in the ocean and jumping off the pier. o.o//
Then I have *sigh* Summer homework. Next year for high school, I’m planning on going into the International Baccalaureate program (for accelerated students) and we need to rip through a Greek mythology book. We’re supposed to expect writing an essay and taking a test in the first week of school.
I miss my old school already. TT^TT
But I’m going to have to do it. I don’t have a choice. My parents are picky and strict and it’s really annoying. >.>;
Other than that… I have tennis team try-outs, swimming practice, cross-country stuff, and blogging. Oh. Hanging out with my friends, going to concerts… just that kind of stuff. That’ll make up my Summer. Busy busy busy~
Concerning Shugo Chara Doki
The only thing that has kept me watching Shugo Chara for so long is looking forward to the plot episodes.
So, in this case…
–DROPPED–
I am dropping Shugo Chara from blogging. It’s that simple.
I’m just… fed up with the OOC-ness of the characters, the un-needed Tadamu fluff, the missing plot, the random awkward filler episodes, and the new OP and ED that don’t say Ikuto arc at all. To me, they say ANIME ORIGINAL ENDING! and if I was watching the anime version for the plot, what am I doing now? Wasting my time blogging something that has really let me down?
Honestly… and just… honestly… I’m starting to feel really “meh” about the SC anime in general. It’s getting kind of old. It’s been dragged on for too long.
Now this does not apply to the manga. Shugo Chara manga is epic win and awesomeness that I have followed since day one. I am very attached. Mangakas know how to write a story and keep it consistent. I could poke a thousand forks at Satelight for ruining SC for me, but I won’t waste my anger on it. I’ll just drop it. Unless we get the plot squeezed in in the last couple of episodes… I won’t bother with this anime. If it goes back to the proper plot, I will probably put it in Weekly Anime. Still… I’ve been waiting for so long for the chapter 32 scenes. I’ve been waiting so long to see my favorite hug scene and the awesome Nagi scenes and the awesome Utau parts animated. Satelight had all the time in the world. Tons of time. 52 frickin episodes to fit in this plot. They screwed up.
Concerning Two Obsessions
I was a lazy girl who put off reading the latest two chapters of Koko ni Iru Yo until now and all I can say is… D’AWWWWWW.
This has got to be my favorite manga… just… ever. The Teru scenes with his past… I cried. The scenes where Teru and Hikage were talking in the ride, and the scenes where Hikage looked back at Teru when he was all alone and started to cry… it just killed me. My god. It’s so sad. I feel so much worse for Teru than I ever did before. I felt bad for him before because he was just kind of… sitting on the sidelines all alone watching Hikage and Hinata be happy together, but now because of his past, and because of what he feels for Hikage, and especially that one scene where he started crying when Hikage left a comment back for him on the blog… it was too much. Teru gets 200% of all my love. He is elevated to one of my favorite all time characters. And I am really starting to get convinced that he really deserves Hikage. I mean… Hinata is great and all. Sure, he kind of noticed Hikage at first, but wasn’t Teru always watching her too? And all I see with Hinata is his jealousy consuming him, whereas Teru just lets Hikage get rabu-rabu over Hinata without saying anything because he feels he doesn’t deserve her. Because he hasn’t realized he likes her… probably until now.
I am seriously anticipating the next chapter. *0* This manga needs an anime. I demand it. D<
Second obsession…!
Pandora Hearts has really been getting to me lately. It’s not even funny. It’ll eventually replace Shugo Chara for me. I mean, I guess it’s kind of starting to already. But whatevs~ Nothing more to say except I’ve taken an odd liking to Lotti. Lotti~~ <333 Oh you sexual harasser you~~
Concerning Blog Status
More like Weekly Anime…
I’m going to get to my First Impressions posts for the shows that need them soon. But for now, dropping Tears to Tiara. In all honesty, I got behind on it, and I can’t keep up with the blogging every week. I’ll still watch it~ I do love Tears to Tiara after all. But for now, I’m saving my sanity and removing another thing that has sort of been… stressing me out.
Umi Monogatari will not be blogged, but I will watch it. Haruhi Suzumiya will take up a slot in Weekly Anime as well as Pandora Hearts once I catch up on it, and Umineko no Naku Koro ni, probably. When the time comes, Sora no Manimani and Hetalia will be added in. So there are my five slots filled right up~ Yay!
Weekly feature is being dropped because I’m just bored of it, in all honesty. I’ll continue with a monthly feature at the beginning of every month. And that’s it~
Concerning a Quite Overdue To-Do List

And that’s all I need to focus on right now~ I’m just kind of glad the list isn’t too long. Well~ no more time today. Weekly anime will probably be fit in tomorrow, and expect the Higurahsi post soon-ish. Everything else will be tackled eventually (meaning soon enough) and my mini unofficial hiatus of procrastination is over~ Tada~~
Sounds like a busy, yet fun summer. Hope you have fun! It’s not lame. Drama Camp sounds fun to me, probably because I find acting fun. O_O Looks like a lot of stuff going on there. Summer homework always sucks, especially in advanced classes. Don’t worry though, I’m sure you’ll be able to settle into your new school. Then you’ll have fun there too~
Aww…you’re dropping SC? I guess I can’t stop you, nor do I blame you. I’ve wanted to drop it a lot. I’m pretty upset too about how Satelight’s been doing with Shugo Chara. And I totally agree that Satelight has screwed things up. I mean, why in the world is Rhythm already coming out? The anime has been pretty disappointing, and the new OP and ED really don’t fit. But I hope somehow some miracle comes around and they pull the most important parts right xD.
Kya!~ KKnIY is just so awesome, huh? My love for Teru has increased with the latest chapters as well. His past definitely has made me more attached to him. I agree with everything you’ve said %100. Yes, KKnIY needs an anime. Seriously! And scanlations need to come out quicker too, the manga’s already complete and not all of the chapters are fully scanlated yet.
Haha, Pandora Hearts has really stolen many of our hearts, ne? But you can’t blame us. It is definitely awesome right now.

You sound very busy. Next summer I will somewhat be like that. My mother wants me to take 5 weeks of chemistry, math, physics, and a bunch of other crap 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Shugo Chara Doki, I’m watching it for the same reasons you are, to see the main plot animated. Personally, Shugo Chara Doki is not worth blogging. Manga is definently more epic and downright awesome with many fangirling moments.
Teru and Hikage. Finally I find a person who agrees with me on that subject. Everyone is for Hinata for some weird reason. In my shoujo manga rules book(which I haven’t made yet), the guy that she ends up with is usually the guy she’s doesn’t fall for first. Another thing, Pandora Hearts is hilarious. It is also a good manga plot too.

But good for you that you have a lot to do for the summer, even if it does sound stressful a bit. Good luck with everything and just remember not to overdo it. Wouldn’t want you to fall sick over doing too much. ^^;
And I CONGRATULATE you on dropping the SC! anime (because for some reason, I can’t even though it’s sapping away half of my life with crappiness -_-; ). I think you’re doing a lot better by kicking it to the curb for the time being unlike everyone else who complains on and off about how it sucks but continue to watch it anyways to complain more and more when they obviously can’t do anything about it. That really is a waste of time.
Personally, I don’t mind so much anymore if Satelight chooses to go through with an anime original ending as long as it is done in a manner I can accept. I have my doubts, of course (many, in fact) but even if ends up sending SC! into the pile of mahou shoujo trash (I can’t believe I’m saying this when I love this series so dearly), I’ve gotten all that I needed from the manga and that’s good enough for me.

And yay~ Another Lotti fan! I’ve come across some people who hate her but for me, she’s way too interesting and weird
