Anime Watchlist – Fall ‘09

Fall is two weeks away for me but who cares? This post is coming out now because I want to blog again, and because I should blog again.
Fall is going to be good… I hope. I’m ignoring the fact that high school is coming around the corner and am enjoying what’s left of Summer. Which, by the way, isn’t much. =^=
Anyway. ♥
Bwah.
Not looking forward to yet another season of Shugo Chara, which will be coming up this October, but whatever. I mean, I guess it’ll keep me busy.
I guess I would kind of miss SC if it ended. I just hope it’s not going to be all fillers.
And that is my opinion of the subject. Done deal.
Summer 2009 – Looking Back
Summer this year was great. Not just the anime either. <3
Everything was fun and relaxing and although yes… I still have family issues I really had to deal with especially, everything else was good!
Anime was good this Summer. It seemed geared towards the more girlish crowd. Which, you know, is fine, seeing as I am a girl. XDDD
But I really really got behind, which really had me thinking at times if I should continue to blog or not. It was difficult. Maybe it’s because I felt like doing fun things with my friends this Summer, rather than blog all day. Who knows.
Anyway. I think I enjoyed Umineko the best this Summer. Hands down. I love it more than I’ve ever loved Higurashi. Which is weird, because I really love Higurashi. Oh and… Beatrice and Battler? Yes, they’re only the best pairing ever. Not my OTP but they’re pretty close.
Sora no Manimani was such a cute series for me. It was everything I expected and more. A perfect shoujo series without the obligatory fail.
Speaking of fail… =_=;
SC was okay this Summer. At least it got around to actual plot… right at the end of the second season though. For the most part… filler crap. But it had it’s golden moments, I admit. Satelight really is good at plot episodes after all.
Haruhi this Summer made my mind explode because of the endlessness of the Endless Eight but hey… after that, it gets better.
I really can’t remember much else for this Summer, other than Canaan being a really good series with awesome animation, Tokyo Magnitude surprising me and being good, Umi Monogatari being really peaceful and nice, and Gendai Mahou being entertaining.
Oh right~ Hetalia is off to a good start too. <3333 Let’s just hope my PrussiaxHunagry scenes get animated~~ <3333333
Fall 2009 – Looking Ahead
Fall looks exceptional this time around, which is good. I see a lot of people generally pleased with the series that will be premiering, and I can safely say I am among them. XDDD

Thoughts: Somehow, this reminds me of a strange mix between Kitchen Princess and Shugo Chara. orz||
But according to Kiseki, it’s a pretty good shoujo series. I’m willing to check it out. :’D

Fall looks promising… so yay~! I hope everyone will find something they like in the line-up.
Anything I’m missing that looks decent? Just let me know. ^_^ That’s it~!

It’s nice to see you back blogging! I must agree that we have the same choices in mind when it comes to this year’s fall anime.
I have yet ot read Kimi ni Todoke manga as well. I agree with you about it reminding you about Kitchen Princess, but not so much on the Shugo Chara. It seems more like a mix between Kitchen Princess and La Corda d’Oro to me. But that’s because of the fairy part.Rin´s last blog ..Barajou no Kiss Chapter 8
Just Like Rin said, WELCOME BACK TO BLOGGING!
About Sora no Manimani….I’d never thought I’d say this but man…it gave me a thrill in a partial-fail season.
As for your lookouts for this coming Fall Season,we pretty much have the same picks save for one or two. I’m really glad that you’ve taken a liking to 11eyes. It’s my must see show for the season other than the familiar favorites.
7´s last blog ..On Sora no Manimani: Why I like Hime better than Mihoshi…
Lol.
Maaaan, you’re liek, indirectly pressuring me to scan chapter 12. xD;
Kiseki´s last blog ..Computer problems
Welcome back!!
Ahh yes. Umineko was one of the best of the season. And Sora no Manimani was very cute, in fact, it was was my favorite for the season. ^_^
Aww…now I want to catch up on all of those series. xDD
We pretty much have similar picks. Looking at your chosen picture for Fairy Tail, it sort of makes me think of One Piece, in terms of art style. O_o
Aw don’t worry, I haven’t read the manga either.
*gets shot with you*But I think we can still be excited, right~?Lol, I think I already know who I want to ship in Yumeiro Patisserie. But like Rin, I got reminded of La Corda D’Oro.
[offtopic->] And…omg I absolutely lo~ve your banners!! So lovely!! *continuously refreshes to see all of them* OMG!! XDD *suddenly there’s a big increase of views* huhuhu~[/offtopic]
blossomgirl101´s last blog ..Blossom Blabber: The Sighs of School
Rin: Yes~ La Corda d’Oro. I was thinking that too. That, and also because everyone has the little spirits reminded me of SC. But it’s like both, I guess. ^^
7: Sora no Manimani was great. It was heart warming and cute. I think everyone could learn to love it.
11eyes looks really cool. I think I chose it mostly because if the art (haha, typical me) but I can’t wait to watch it. Fantasy/action shows are really interesting. :3
Kiseki: Pfffffff.
Yes please?*shot*
Blossom: Ah yes. Umineko was great. I loved it so much. Umineko and Sora no Manimani seems to be among the favorites. That, and Tokyo Magnitude. Which blew my mind. Oh boy~
Haha. Yeah. Most of us all have similar picks.
Fairy Tail did remind me of One Piece at first, but it was mostly the art. It’s actually a great series.
I feel so ashamed. I was under the impression that everyone read Kimi ni Todoke, but I’m glad I was wrong. At least I won’t be going into it with a bias though. ^^
Yeahh. Kiseki indirectly helped me a bit with the shipping aspect of Yume Pati.
Kashino = blonde guy = IchigoxKashino ftw. <3orz||Thank you~! I actually like my banners a lot this season too. Probably because I lengthened the dimensions. Haha. Bigger banners are always good.
More will be coming though. I just have to stop being lazy and put them together. ^^;
K-ON! is one of the best animes ever!!!
