Fall 2009 – First Impressions pt. 1
Fall has managed to impress me and… make me “LOL” in a lot of different ways.
11eyes
… is an AWESOME show.
Glad I gave it a chance. The character design are cute but tolerable. The animation is pretty good. It’s nothing amazing like Kimi ni Todoke is, or how Tokyo Magnitude was, but it’s still good.
Kakeru is so cool~ But the grey haired dude looks pretty cool too. Yuka is really cute! I like the characters a lot so far.
The beginning scared me a little, and the part where Kakeru talked about his sister’s suicide hit me a little hard (since those kind of subjects are touchy for me) but it seems really interesting and exciting. I think I’ll blog it…!
Kimi ni Todoke

I really need to read this manga now. I’m in love with this series!
I felt really bad for Sawako in a lot of the parts. The part where she started crying made me sad. But I guess I always get sad when people start crying. ^^;
Shota is such a nice guy~ And he sounds so much like Italy LOL. It made me a little happy but I couldn’t get that image out of my mind when I was listening to him.
The animation is lovely and the music is so pretty. I like both of the theme songs. Ayane scares me a little, but I think I’ll grow to warm up to her character.
It’s a really nice show overall. It did seem a bit rushed, according to what Kiseki said, but I’m fine with that. Hopefully they’ll be able to manage the series well. ^^

This show is really really awful. I can’t really say anything more than that. If you want a better idea, go read Kanzeon’s amazing epic post about it.
Really though? Spend about five minutes arguing on who introduces themselves first and them make a dramatic fail OP and a random loli and a talking dog and rip off characters who remind me a whole lot of certain nation-tans and you have LOL WORTHY FAIL AHAHA.
Maybe I’ll watch it for fun though because I was really enjoying poking some fun at it as it went along. *w*

I liked the old OP better but the new one had better animation and art, imo.
Nothing tops the old ED, but this one is still cute. ^^ I don’t know though. I might get sick of another 25 or so episodes of this but I’ll enjoy it until then lol. Haruka is still Haruka so I’m watching and blogging for now. :’D

Why does this remind me of last season’s yuri series? Whatsa-whatever? Something about flowers? lol
Yeah. Glasses girl who’d be a lot prettier without glasses and girl with fluffy hair who is oblivious to her feelings.
… yeah.
Same old same old. But the art here is better, and I guess it’s breaking the yuri barrier by hosting it in a boy and girl school. Hey- who’d ever think of something like that?
It was okay. I might or might not watch it for cuteness. I’m not blogging, I know that. Yuri normally isn’t my thing, but not sure yet.
Shugo Chara Party…? Dokki Dokki Doki Doki Doki!!! …?

Okay, I’ll be fair. Shugo Chara used to be good. The manga is good. Well… I was kind of expecting it to die peacefully with the chapter before the new one that recently came out… so maybe not anymore. Idk… Shugo Chara should have never been dragged on this much. It’s getting old the drama is just… lol-worthy.
Shugo Chara Dokki doki doki!!! Dokki doki!!! Party! Or whatever… it’s too much. And it sucks. You’ve really been missing out if you haven’t been tuning in. The live action sucks. Their voices really annoy me. The chara series is really a waste of effing time. Really? “Dia and the Flower! Doki!”

It shouldn’t even be considered an anime, seeing as how the actual filler plot crap only lasted about… idk ten minutes or so? And even that part sucked.
Okay, I’m being a little harsh I guess… but this here is a fan who’s been following this manga since the day it came out (I was a pretty big Peach-Pit fan for Rozen Maiden and Zombie Loan before it). And this here is a fan who got very attached to this series and loved the first season of the anime, despite the fillers. The fillers back then weren’t bad! They were fun!
But it just sucks now. Because a series I really loved was quickly turned in the other direction and now it’s just… “bleh”.
Maybe I’ll follow the manga… but the “anime” just isn’t worth it.
Yumeiro Patissiere
Now here is proper shoujo cliche cheesy girly anime!
But I actually liked it.
I can’t see why people are categorizing this with Miracle Train and Shugo Chara Party Doki Doki Dokki Dokkkkki! already. It’s a cute series. Some people actually like shoujo. The good shows aren’t always the ones with action and other crap. I love stuff like this. With the love traingle where you obviously know where it’ll end, and the clumsy cute girl… yeah. I mean, I like this show so far. :/
It makes me feel like… maybe I’m not good at determining what good anime is when people go bashing things I like. Know what I mean?
Unless a series really really deserves it *coughcough* then it doesn’t deserve the rage. This is a cute series, so who the hell cares if it’s cliche? If you don’t like it, leave it alone and let the fans be happy with what they like.
With that said, it’s a cute series. Not amazing, but I’m watching it and blogging it because it reminds me of my Tokyo Mew Mew days, and my Fruits Basket days, and my Kitchen Princess days. It’s nice~

I actually like the pacing in the anime better than in the manga. If I remember correctly, in the manga (at the end of ep 1), Kazehaya waited because he (along with the class) mistook Sawako’s “clearing up about the misunderstanding” as a confession. The end up episode 1 ended better as he already liked her, and wanted his feelings to reach her (whereas in the manga, it wasn’t stated like that…I think, I hope I’m remembering this correctly).
In the manga, there’s no love triangle. I’m trying to figure out whether the anime is an adaption distillation or a decay. P:

11eyes is pretty good. The animation is awesome, though I think that the animators use every single chance to show somebody’s panties.
Kobato is win. Just win. KObato singing, the chibis, Fujimoto. When I read the manga, I didn’t think much about Fujimoto, but now

Doki dokki dokkkki whatever crap. I wanted to burn it. I just skipped through the whole Live-action and the Puchi whatever(which made it 10 times better than when you do watch it) and I still threw up.
Yumeiro Patissiere is cute. Now that I’ve watched the episode, I yet again changed my opinion of what this reminds me of. Now I think it reminds me of Gakuen Alice, Kitchen Princess(definently), and La Corda d’Oro(it looks like a harem and also the fairy). According to Kiseki though, I heard that we were heading towards filler hell.
