Updates – Banners…!
Updated banner post…? Yay!
I couldn’t find any scans for Yume Pati. Hopefully some will pop up on the net over time but I can’t be sure of anything.
Here are my updated banners! Which, yes, I plan on making a new tab about on the site.
Key – Heroines
I found a picture with all four of them and just flipped because it was the perfect opportunity to snatch it. Every Key heroine is going to be an awesome heroine no matter what.
Even though Ayu and Rin are probably the main focus in this image, I really like the art for Nagisa here. And of course, the art for my favorite Key heroine, Misuzu. ^^
This was a really easy banner to make, because all I really did was add some lighting effects and played with the coloring a bit.
Fairy Tail – Lucy
I kind of wanted to use a big portion of this image, so I apologize if it looks a little awkward in any way.

But I like it. Most of the cool part of the picture had to be cut out, but since I made sure to get all of Lucy’s awesome outfit, I think it’s good the way it is. Originally, I was going to try to include the key too, but it wouldn’t fit. ;3;
Mosaic.Wav – Akiba Pop! melodyroid
I made a set a while back for GW with this image, so it wasn’t too hard to recreate into banner form.
This is actually fan art (although it bears an uncanny resemblance to the real art mi-ko uses for her coers and stuff) for Mosaic-Wav’s “character” Melodyroid. I’m not sure if that’s even her name… but one of the songs is called Saikou Saikyou Melodyroid so I’m assuming we can call her that for now.
Anyway…! For those of you who don’t know, Mosaic.Wav is my favorite Japanese band. It’s a moe anime-pop band. They do a lot of music for h games and eroge and stuff, but the songs themselves (and the songs they use for normal shows) are really catchy and cute and I love them. My favorite is probably Miwaku no Tsunderoido. That, or Love Cheat!, or Kimi wa Nan Terabyte?
As I mentioned a while back on wordpress on my monthly feature for this band, the music is probably the one thing I fangirl about the most, and probably the one thing I’ve fangirled about the most… ever. Just because. Whenever a new album comes out, I stop at nothing to get a hold of it. I pretty much stalk Denpa no Sekai for updates everyday. orz||
But I love this music, and I love that it gives you the feeling that everything is tied together to make a story somehow. Like the Akiba in Wonderland Drama Cd, and the songs from Superluminal. I don’t know… they’re just all really cool techo-ish newage songs. And everyone has a moe basis. There’s a song for tsunderes, dojikkos, meganes, two of them for cats I think, and so many more. They’re just all awesome songs.
And I wrote too much for this banner so I’ll just end it by saying it was a fun banner to make and I really piled on the effects to make it seem futuristic. For those who were wondering, when I work with brushes and textures, graphics of mine usually end up like this.
Kimi ni Todoke – From Me; To You
I LOVE how I executed this banner. Just… everything I did with it. I couldn’t find any images with good color and good potential, so I went for the black and white image. And I left it pretty open; there’s a lot of white, but I think it fits pretty well with the big “plain” text, as I like to call it.
And all I added in the end were little black sparkles to the corners and that was all! It was simple, but it’s nice I think…?
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu – Warning! Top Secret!
Haha~ I had no idea what to do with this image when I got it, so I just decided to stick some bright text on it… like a caution sign or something? Or a crime scene? I’m not sure… ^^;
But yeah. It’s just Haruka looking cute. I don’t have much else to say. :\
Black Rock Shooter – Where Did You Go?
Just because of the awesome pv. Yeah.
I didn’t want to change much about this image actually, and I liked how it ended up after I cropped it. I really like the outfit she wears, so I wanted to include most of it. And some of the crosses too, and the big blue moon.
I just felt like adding big text in the end, and putting in a border on the bottom with the translated lyrics of the song. And that’s it for that one.
Kobato – Going Places?
I really loved how I put this together. The layering became tricky since certain things had to be behind one thing and in front of another, but it all worked out. I pretty much found the image of Kobato, and used the textures and colors from the image to make a look-a-like. The original image is lined with the green and yellow picnic stripes with the maroon-orange lining that. And aside from that, it was extracting, layering, and text effects. I like it~ Not my favorite, but I think it’s cute. ^^
Hetalia – All Around the World
This is one of my favorites. The original image was huge and very long, so I cut it in half between Spain and Romano (HAHAHAHA TAKE THAT ANTONIO) and just layered the two halves on top of each other. I like using simple spaced out texts sometimes, and the cursive was put in behind everything at a lower opacity. It has a nice feel to it, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. :’D
Hetalia – PrussiaxHungary OTP

Anyway. It’s Prussia and Hungary (what else do you expect out of me?) looking all cool from back when Prussia represented the Old Prussians and the Teutonic Knights, alongside his parter in crime and childhood sweetheart friend Hungary~
Yeahh. <3 I like this banner a lot. <3333
It’s pretty much like the original image, but I fixed the coloring an added in cursive plus some brushes.
Hetalia – Liecherella?

Cinderella really did originate in Liechtenstein, didn’t it?
Everyone looked pretty here. From England as the Fairy God Mother, Switzerland being the prince and Hong Kong being all adorable holding the glass slipper…. and China on the pumpkin carriage, and LOL Germany as the step mother with Italy and Japan as the step sisters~ Ahaha. It was such an awesome image. I had to use it. Liech looked so pretty too. ^^
I really only added in the text – nothing else needed to be changed.
Hetalia – Girls!

Belarus, Taiwan, Liech, Hungary, Ukraine, Seychelles, Vietnam, and Belgium. They’re all there~! POLAND! OH MY GOD THEY’RE, LIKE, MISSING POLAND!
Yeah. It was cute image of all the girl nation-tans so I decided to use it~ This picture was a big reason I changed my banner size as well… I wanted the edges to be the white lace. ^^
Umineko – Hanyan Loves Gore ♥
Especially when an awesome witch stuffs dead bodies with candy. Happy Halloween?
Bernkastel~ Awesome image of Bern.
I like this banner a lot, because some of my brushes worked out perfectly with it so I was happy. ^^
I think that’s all I have to say about this one. Other than the fact that Bern looks cool. Cool~~!

I love all of the details in the Akiba Pop! banner. I remember it from your old blog, so when I saw it, I was like, “Hey!”
But I loved that one, so it’s really cool you made it into a banner.
The KnT banner is wonderfully simple that it’s <3. Kobato one is adorable, the Hetalia ones are awesome~, the Umineko Bernkastel banner's font is so cool, and the Umineko Beatrice x Battler one is HAWT!
