I’m Lea. =D
I am fourteen years old. I live in California. I was born in Illinois.
I started my blog on April 8th, 2009 on a website everyone is familiar with, Wordpress. It was called Hanyan by Lea. Hanyan is derived from “Hanya~!” which is what super moe girl Sakura Kinomoto shouts when she is pleased, happy, or extremely hyper. The second part, “Nyan”, a tribute to my love for Macross Frontier, combines with Hanya to make “Hanyan”. The title is completed with the “By Lea” to make it more unique.
After about two months on Wordpress, I was invited here to Kokidokom by 7 and Fuyumaiden. I accepted right away. Wordpress was acting up already, even after the short period of time I was on it.
I will be blogging anime and manga for the most part. Anime and manga first attracted me because of the art. I am a very visual person. The American animation I’d see on various TV channels really got on my nerves. There was no effort put into it. The proportions were all off, and I hated just about everything about it. There was no plot, and the character were completely stupid. Now, I am not in any was directing this at all American animation. So if you like that animation, then you can’t blame me for offending you in any way.
But after seeing the art and effort put into anime and manga, and how interesting the stories were, I got hooked. Now I am a spoiled little child who expects everything she sees to be as perfect and pretty. XDDD
