Starting off the Summer season with a “bang” is Umi Monogatari ~Anata ga Ite Kureta Koto~. (and I can’t believe I already memorized that title =3=)

I was really surprised with this first episode, because it wasn’t at all what I expected~ In a good way. Because I ended up liking it, and since two shows in my weekly anime are moving out due to them ending, looks like another one might be moving in? We’ll see~

Anyway. I think the beautiful animation and art made me like it a lot more than I would have. And the background music is just… so pretty. It’s not like normal fast paced magical girl shows, but it’s somewhat relieving in the way that it’s relaxing, and just… refreshing. But onto my impressions so far.

They’re not mermaids, they’re ocean people…?

Wow. Where in the world did the month go?

I’m actually sad. If time goes by this quickly, Shugo Chara will be over before I know it. Which is sad, because I absolutely love this manga~

But this chapter really made me happy. It also really made me wonder, but I will get to specific reasons later on~

Amu is officially the best mahou shoujo heroine ever.

I guess it dawned on me today that instead of doing long five episode posts, isn’t it easier to do the weekly episodes in one post?

Plus… this way lets me blog more shows. The shows I don’t have too much of an opinion or bias on yet. Compared to Shugo Chara, which I have been reading since it started, a show that has been going on for six or seven weeks can’t really live up to those standards. But~!

Since I still want to blog some of them, this is easier. =3 So pretty much, Hatsukoi gets the leading screen cap this week. It was my favorite out of the five this week. <3

Weekly anime will now include;

• Eden of the East
• Hatsukoi Limited
• K-On!
• Saki
• Tears to Tiara

Three out of five of these shows have characters named Saki. o.o;

I’m actually happy there was an episode like this. Because it’s secretly saying, “Tadase and Ikuto are soon going to be friends like these two are~!”

And that is what makes me all happy.
